Bob, we have the same tastes. I started Free Range Chickens, stopped when it became apparent that the book just sort of made me feel stupid for not being so sarcastically cynical.

Started Murder List, but stopped. However, I kept it on the reader, which is something I never do. I like a nice tidy couple of books on there, and delete them as I finish them.

Right now, I'm going to begin reading Legends II, edited by Robert Silverberg. Probably of my all time favorite books was Legends, so I'm certain this will be good also. They are an anthology of short stories/novellas from some of the superstars of scifi/fantasy, written as stand-alones in the worlds of some of their best series. For instance, in Legends, Stephen King wrote on about happenings in his "Green Mile" world. Pratchett wrote a rolling around laughing story about Granny Weatherwax. I'm shutting down the computer now to begin reading!
