Having said that...

I am of the opinion that either epub or kepub are the best formats for the Kobo devices. And that stripping out everything isn't going to make enough difference to anything to make it worthwhile doing.
I've noticed that the device runs well with all my ebooks turned in kepub format. Turning the books in epub I've seen it slower. So to avoid to try all the other formats, I asked here.

I sought to improve as much as possible the performance of the device, but if, simplifing the file, the result it's the same thing, I'll keep the kepub format
