Different original formats have usually different identifications as e.g. ISBN. You need to move them manually to a new book entry if you want to see formats as separate book entries.
A possible creative way around this is to use connect/share ->connect to folder and select your library folder. This folder will then be shown as a device and each book format as single book entry. You can use this to "add" book formats as separate books to your library.
