Pilotbob is very right.
I remember getting the Reader about a year ago and being pissed off I couldn't get my entire ebook library on my shiny new device. My iPod holds my entire music library, so why should this be different, right? So I did what came naturally... I bitched and moaned.
I conceded defeat, and transfered about 200 books I wanted to read to my Reader. Guess what? I still haven't gone through them all. I added several new ones that I bought along the way, and nope, still haven't read all of those either. Just FYI, I have a dozen or so books I bought that I haven't even transfered (and I have the space) just because there's no point until I go through my backlog.
In the end, you have to stop thinking of the Reader as the iPod for books. It seems that way, but you just don't consume books the same way you consume music.
256mb of internal memory is much more than you need. You'll disagree with me now, but you'll come around... it takes time.
