One negative thing I've noticed is not that many books seem to support this feature. I think books have to be specially prepared to have the chapter markers. That is unfortunate. Most of my books don't indicate the chapters.
Also, periodicals have a new advanced article list which is a lot nicer than before. It really is a slick way to choose articles, a lot better than before. However, any older periodicals don't seem to have this feature and I haven't found any way to get to the article list at all. For example I can't get to the article lists of any of my Asimov's or Analog's back issues. That really sucks. I guess I just have to read them straight through. At least they work at all on the new kindle. I wasn't sure they would be viewable at all because periodicals can't be downloaded to more than one kindle, but if you copy them via USB it seems to work.
