The PDF experience tends to be quite poor on the Kobo Aura One. It can be improved somewhat by installing the Koreader software and using that to read PDFs. However, that also has its limitations.
I used to read epubs with Koreader in my KA1, yes you can read the epub but this ereader is slow as a hell, in two words: pure garbage.

Now with the Boox Note experience, KA1 is even worse...
