Either way, two.credits up front in exchange for a few months of a light membership that seems like it wasn't giving you much value seems like a good trade.

I forgot about the $10 gift card. Well, I should know in a couple of weeks, when they are supposed to send it to people who signed up, whether or not I'm getting it. Frankly, I'm not expecting it.
What's done is done.
Anyway, I went ahead and burned through the 2 credits. Got a couple of great audiobooks from Audible that I had seen in Libro.fm's sale.
No more credits show on my account page (as yet, anyway). If they don't appear by May 20, I'll cancel and try to get Inactive Light back when its term ends on July 28. Yeah, IA doesn't give you much, but it doesn't cost much either--83 cents per month ($9.95 divided by 12). And occasionally you get in on some sales that the real members get in on.
This is all tubemonkey's fault, you know. I haven't figured out yet how, but I know that it is.
