Reminds me of the winter I spent in Bath Maine, '69-'70 or maybe '70-'71. As I recall the snow was level (not drifts) to the eaves and we had to tunnel to get out the door. It's a good thing most houses weren't well insulated in the ceilings or the snow would have piled up enough to collapse many roofs.
