Oh, get this. When the semi tried to bash my brains in, I had tons of groceries that were destroyed. 48 cans of soda exploded. Bottles of chili sauce ditto. Two bags of rock salt .... all over the place.
The truck company's insurance provider says they don't cover any "consumables" because I was going to use them. The fact that I never got the opportunity to use them is of no concern to them. They're just not covered.
I mean really .... what kind of asshole logic is that???
