Milos Forman died the other day, best known as director of 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest' and 'Amadeus'.
In my opinion his best film was 'The Fireman's Ball', probably because of the impact it had on me. I saw it in Paris shortly after the riots, a week later I went to see Costas-Gavras' masterpiece 'Z'. All of which was bracketed by the assignations of King and Kennedy.
Some say if you can remember those times you weren't there, I say if you were there then how could you not remember them.
