Sorry but have to disagree on this. I don't care about creative design in my ereader, I care about function, battery life, weight and "easy on the eyes" reading. Actually, I would say more boring would be better. I own the Aura One and it's simple, black, no buttons on the front, has a good resolution and I like the light function. Of course it has its problems (the software SUCKS) but it does what I bought it for; no bells & whistles needed.
Only point I think needs work is the extreme high pricing, low pixel count and small size (mostly between 5-7") of the screens. Building a 9" 3000x2400 pixel screen for $200 is absolutely possible.
