To answer your question, yes you can upgrade from 1.1 to 1.2. The only difference is the method for rendering the date. 1.1: mm/dd/yy, 1.2: dd/mm/yy. Use PRS Customizer to make this change...there are instructions on how to do this and where to get version 1.2.
