I am reading
Sympathy for the Devil (Morris & Chastain book 3) right now and stumbled about yet another reference to a different urban fantasy series I have not heard about.
When Morris tells Libby who else he has been outsourcing work he mentions almost in passing:

"Really?"
"Name's Jill Kismet. Lives in New Mexico. Superbly trained, and tough as nails --- toward the bad guys, anyway."

Kindle omnibus on Amazon $12.99).
