I love how we all have certain tropes that we love and others we just don't like. For me, time travel is an absolute no go. No matter how well done it is, my mind can't get over the inherent paradox and my brain threatens to explode whenever I try to read one (and no, I have not and probably never will read Outlander although it is buried somewhere in my TBR mountain.
). Yet I have no problem at all with vamps, shifters, witches, dragons, alien warriors, etc.
