[Teeg]

Hi, I'm Teeg (pronounced Teej). I joined this site a couple months ago, after I got a Kobo Aura One for my birthday and I was searching for help with connecting it to Calibre.

I've used Calibre and Sigil for years as tools to help with our homeschooling, but I'd only use them a few times a year, organizing the books we needed for the year, then putting them aside until time to prepare for the next year.

After I got my e-reader, I began using Calibre much more frequently, and realized that I'd barely scratched the surface before as far as discovering what a great tool it is. Now it has a permanent home on my toolbar. My entire ebook library is routed through it, and it's a rare day that I don't open the program at least once.

Currently, I'm working to organize all the e-books I've collected over the years. With so many books from so many different sources, my collection is rather jumbled right now, so I'm trying to work on it a little at a time to get the books' metadata correct, find covers for those that don't currently have one, create tags that fit the structure I need (for example, homeschooling books organized by year), and figure ways to tame an already large and constantly growing collection.
