Possibly... For a dedicated ereader such as the prototype which was being shown in the video you linked to.

However, the Note is so much more than a simple ereader so I suspect that it requires a little bit more power to drive it.

If I really wanted solar, I would still lean toward using a separate solar panel along with a power bank. It would be easy enough to hook the power bank up to the ereader. Perhaps you could even do that while you were using the Note.

One idea might be to build the solar panel into a protective cover.

However, I think I'd prefer a waterproof Note to one which had a solar panel.
