Thanks for responding.

I doubt it’s the disk as it is used pretty heavily by a number of applications before and after this event with Calibre. No indication of any trouble anywhere except for this. CHKDSK comes up clean. The drive is only two months old and it is suppose to be pretty reliable being an Ultrastar.

Lets say it is the AV. What is the best way to recover?
