also, i think i used rx/tx not rxd/txd? i don't recall exactly, but the 1.8v power was supplied by dividing the 3.3v one with the scheme from the link
i think rxd and txd was supplying 3.3v and i found that odd, so i used the rx/tx
i can check if anyone is interested, the circuit is still at home, in a box
