Yep. I know you can install Ubuntu on the Samsung Series 3 (ARM Cortex-A15) for sure.

https://github.com/dnschneid/crouton is the easiest option if you just want to try it out without messing with the Chrome OS installation, but there are numerous ways to install to bare metal depending on the particular model (Google is your friend).
