I had a couple of purchased apps which, for some reason, I could not install on my Note. After reading in one of these threads about how it is possible to extract the apk file from an app one already has on another device, I did some research.

First, I discovered that I would need to install ADB on my laptop. I found information about how to do that here: https://www.xda-developers.com/insta...s-macos-linux/

Then, I found out how to extract the apk file from an app from here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/...android-device

I was able to successfully extract the apk files for the apps I wanted and then sideload and install them on my Note. They are working fine.

Will this method work for OReader? I don't know.

Might there be a simpler more elegant process to achieve the same? Probably. But as I have zero coding/hacking abilities, I wouldn't really know where to look.

Best of luck.
