I used to eat Peeps and preferred slightly stale ones. I usually only bought them after Easter when the grocery stores would sell off remaining Easter candy at deep discounts.
These days, I'm vegetarian, so Peeps are verboten (they contain gelatin, an animal product). My wife is Jewish and a vegetarian, making Peeps a double no-no (the gelatin used is pork derived).
