I wonder whether it's possible to bring that joy of discovery back, in online form. That's part of what prompted my original post - a combination of frustration with what's out there online, wondering if I was the only one who feels like I do, and thinking about whether anything could be done about it (or if there was already something out there).
I'm a UI developer, and so part of my job is looking at things where people say "I don't like the way that works" and saying "well, maybe it can work another way or an additional way". Or is it that whenever I hear someone say "I don't like the way that works", I say "well, maybe it can work another way or an additional way", so I became a UI developer? Which one is the chicken and which one is the egg?
And more importantly, is there a book on Amazon about it?
