I'm a long time 505er (since 10/07) and have had the K2 a few hours. I love it. I don't know that it's really any better overall than the 505 for just plain reading, but the dictionary is nice and the wireless is neat. I put my own files on a password protected part of my webserver and can download them remotely if I'm not near a computer.

For me one of the big things was book price/selection. There are books that I've wanted and they're the only one that has them plus a lot of books are many dollars cheaper. I can still remove DRM (unless it's a Topaz book which I will avoid) and store my personal backup copy in case of a device switch.
