Get a Great Whispersync Deal on a Sci-Fi/Thriller Book for Young People.

"Young people," for the purpose of this post, are those in grade level 4 - 12; age 8 - 18, the grade levels and ages for which this ebook would be suitable, according to Amazon.

The ebook is Trapped (The Prometheus Project Book 1), by Douglas E. Richards. As noted in the title of this post, it is a sci-fi/thriller.

"Trapped, and its sequels are part of the Accelerated Reader program."

You/your child can get the audio of this book for only $1.98! That's the price of the WS deal, which includes both the audio and the ebook (the math: Kindle ebook $0.00 + Audible audio $1.99 = $1.98). The audio, by itself, at Audible is $14.95!

I've checked, and the two other Books in The Prometheus Project do not have low-priced WS deals, as this prequel does.

This ebook meets all of my demanding standards for posting; the only thing that could make it better, in my mind, is that it be a little longer than its 192 pages (for the ole "bang for the buck" thing).

Description
A fantastic alien city buried deep underground. What wonders -- and what dangers -- is it hiding?

Ryan and Regan Resnick have just moved to the world's most boring place. But when they discover their parents are part of an ultra-secret project called Prometheus, they are plunged into a nonstop adventure: one that will be the ultimate test of their wit, courage, and determination. Soon they are under attack and facing hostile alien worlds, alien technology, and unimaginable dangers at every turn.

Now, their mother is facing certain death, and they must race to solve a seemingly impossible mystery to have any hope of saving her. But if they save their mom, they will have no way to save themselves.

Full disclosure: This book is a "Kindle Exclusive." Kindle Exclusives are available only at Amazon. Amazon has quietly (at least quietly to me) gone about building a huge publishing business, under its own name and also under the names of numerous imprints. From what I've seen, the quality of the ebooks that they publish themselves is "right up there" with the older, well-known publishers.

In fact, I'm thinking of having Amazon publish my great American novel. Whenever I can manage to get it started, and can manage to get it written.
