I have the Onyx Boox Max Carta, connected to a Bluetooth keyboard writing works fine. But don't expect to do any major editing or file management (I'm assuming you keep each chapter as a separate file) on it. Maybe also look into the 10.1" Note, comes with a quad core CPU.
