My local library used to have a book sale just before the famous Brandeis tent sale. Since they remodeled they now have special shelves for a year round booksale.
The smaller library nearer my commuter train station has limited hours, but volunteers take the books that they cannot use, and rubberstamp them with Friends of the -- Library, then put them on a shelf inside the station to reduce boredom among the riders.  |
