Yes/no. If there is DRM, you can only do this is the eBook is in Mobi or KF8 and you are setup with the DRM removal plugins in Calibre. A lot of eBooks will be KF8 on a Paperwite 2 on up.

As for Amazon tablets, the answer is that if the eBooks have DRM, no you cannot.

The best thing to to is download using the USB download option at Amazon. Select the eInk Kindle you own.
