HTML to ePub - including comments in meta tags?

Just what it says on the tin.

When I convert HTML to epub via Calibre I include:
Code:
<meta name="author" content="John Doe">
to get the author's name field, but it'd be awesome if there was a meta tag for comments so that'd populate that meta data when I import the HTML file.

Is this possible? Does my question even make sense?

Thanks!
