According to the tracking details from the UPS website, my package cleared customs early this morning... and yet it did not make it onto a truck for delivery today despite being cleared for transit and despite me having already paid all import fees..
I suspect that it will be delivered Monday. My guess is that there is some stipulation in whatever agrrement that no devices will be received before a certain date.
Not a big deal, but if UPS knew this beforehand, why did they provide an estimated delivery date for today?
Annoying to needlessly get one's hopes up, especially when the package is being held at a facility only about 10km away from where I live and was cleared for transit more than 13 hours ago.
