A while back, we looked at the Playaway Lock as a device for use in school libraries. When we found that a Playaway Lock would cost us an average of $389 US for the annual lease option or an average of $449 US for the perpetual license and there was no way that we could curate/add our own content, the libraries decided to continue with their Kobo loaner devices.
