The extra $30 is for the 32 GB upgrade, the only version shown as to be available with the champagne color aluminum back. Not available on the most expensive version with cellular communications as well as wi-fi and 32 GB.

Useless if in a clip on cover but I used to like the fact that Sony readers were available in multiple colors. I have red, black and silver Sony PRS-650 readers.
