That's not too surprising. Most people have a longer circadian clock than 24 hours. Depending on how you set things up, the length varies—in absolute darkness it averages around 24.2 hours, but if you're granted access to artificial light then it's closer to 25 hours on average (light tends to extend the period of wakefulness, even if you're controlling it yourself based on how tired you are).
But there's a fair bit of individual variance; about 25% of people have a natural rhythm shorter than 24 hours (in darkness).
