(Some e-readers have progress bars, or page number-like progress, but in full screen mode, the KA1 shows nothing but a wall of text. In non-full screen mode where it can show progress, it wastes half the screen with whitespace and headers and footers...)

The progress bar that kindles used to have was great. You could very quickly see where you were in the book, where you were in the chapter, how big each chapter was, and how many chapters remained to be read. It really didn't take up any extra space either.
