Hi, I am not really sure since I have not used it that way yet in a production setting - I have not yet built an intensive/extensive experience. As you see we are still improving the whole featureset. Regal mode option was a milestone, touchscreen is another. And I use EPD in natural light... It's winter here.

I bet, out of the experience built in the tests, that the Max2 will be an asset as a production device outdoors. I confirm that you get more than used to the EPD lag - you go towards forgetting about it - while using HDMI; remember with my mods you can also switch "fast" to "high quality" whenever needed.

Now, for programming you may want to note that syntax highlighting effect is dimmed;
for web browsing you may not need to go beyond the native Android - just install Lightning (enable high contrast mode) or any other browser we discussed about in the Web Browsers thread and which enables to correct the stochastic designer's idiocy of "fog tint on white".

If you work in dark rooms, use OLED screens with black background applications.
