Yes, and not nearly as good as Spin. I would rate Spin as 4/5 and Axis 3/5.
I just finished Way Station (by Clifford D. Simak), it is average. I nearly gave up on it halfway through. 2.5 / 5.
Started Refuge after that and gave up very soon.
