That's just a gross indication for an order of magnitude.

You correctly asked for real world data, just do not forget that: there should be a standardized test which includes both "battery drain in mAh for 1h of device on but idle, with all radios turned off" and "battery drain in mAh with a standardized process ongoing". All of this is doable, all may not be really telling, as mileage varies with usage.

Exact data is not widly publicized because with that rate, recharging the device every once in a while is not a problem. They don't do it on smart watches, which may not last the day (they do, and present unusable figures).

Note anyway that there is a possibly chief factor: raw CPU speed. One device may be very responsive, but with the drawback of draining battery faster. Current Onyx devices mount a CPU that is a marvel of power efficiency (Cortex A17), and nonetheless drinks more than a Cortex B-bradipus.

And also note that Android as an OS require more beefy hardware, hence possibly heightened consumptions - as a price paid by the members of its market placement, who want a flexible device that offers more than the embedded software.
