Device: Kindle Fire (5th Generation)
Calibre having issues communicating with SD Card

I have been getting this error message all day when I connect my Kindle Fire (5th Generation).

calibre, version 3.18.0
ERROR: Error: Error communicating with device

I want to note that this error is ONLY occurring in response to my microSD card and Calibre is working just fine to read the items on the main storage. I have so far:
  1. restarted both my computer and my kindle device
  2. removed the microSD card and reinserted it
  3. deleted the Calibre files (driveinfo.calibre and metadata.calibre)
  4. updating my version of Calibre
  5. trying a different USB Port and cord.

Again Calibre works perfectly fine if my microSD card is not in the device. I also can still move files manually using the file viewer on my desktop without an issue to the Kindle and microSD card. This error appears to strictly be on Calibre's end.
