I read on my iPad mini at lunch most days. Why the tablet rather than eInk? A number of reasons.

- I like to have all my books on the device and once you get past a certain number of books, the eInk devices become very slow and basically unmanageable.
- I like using Calbre Companion on by iPad to manage my book collection and decide what to read next
- I don't like carrying multiple devices and I can use the iPad for other things
- I'm not terribly fond of the new eInk touch screens. They seem slow to respond. I'm sure that is because I have around 200 books loaded on it.
- I like reading on a customization multi-color screen.
- I like the big format of the original iPad Pro (what I use to do most of my reading). The fonts are easier for me to read and I can read PDF's with no problem.

I'm sure that the vast majority of readers only have 1 or maybe no more than 5 books on their readers at a time.
