This wasn't directed at me, but my eyes would be extremely grateful for a frontlight.

My eyes even do much better looking at a backlit device compared to a non-lit eReader or paperbook, which makes my vision go completely blurry within an hour or less, and usually causes a bad headache.

On the other hand, I can read my Boyue eInk eReader with the frontlight on for hours with no problem, or stare at a LED or OLED monitor all day with no discomfort or vision problems.

I know... it's heretical to admit that unlit eInk strains my eyes so terribly, but that's what happens.
