There is a dedicated thread for discussing the night mode. Towards the, it includes links to the correct files to use. To the best of my knowledge, it works on the Aura H2O2. The post you are responding to is about the original Aura H2O. The night mode definitely works on it. Unfortunately, the OP doesn't give any clue as to what was wrong.
