I've finished
Mr Penumbra's 24-hour Bookshop. Not what I was expecting at all! A most enjoyable modern 'fantasy', or perhaps merely an alternate universe. But not with anything supernatural. Recommended.
(Although perhaps my knowledge of what was approximately real history and what was made up helped)
