I'm not sure what you are referring to. I don't remember anything in the driver options that I would call a "Kobo metadata" option. And I can't check at the moment.

But, the metadata isn't populated by the driver. Calibre does this as part of the send process. You will need to install the Kepub Metadata Writer plugin for this to work.

The only other thing I can think of is that if you use metadata plugboards, you need to make sure there is a kepub version as well as the epub version.
