One of the reasons is that I have noticed slight differences in the books between kepub and epub and have come to prefer epub. But in some cases I do like having kepub as it keeps the chapter remaining and such working.
If using the convert to kepub option will it have same effect as enable kobo metadata checkbox? Yes I am using kobo utilities and saw that option, very neat.
