Did you check the md5sum of your initial 5.7.4 factory bin? Maybe that file was corrupted and that's what caused you trouble?

Sadly I don't remember what version of the firmware my PW3 was running before the JB. 5.8 something... It took a LONG time to downgrade to 5.7.4 factory but then everything went flawlessly, so I don't think it's something to do with 5.8.x.

It's strange that the key is still in the right folder..
What about the hotfix, did you install it?
