i understand your situation, and i have not demanded anything from you. this is a forum, not your job. if you want to help, fine, if not, the same. there are others around here who might help me too. if not, so be it. it's not a matter of life or death. i just counted the pm's i've sent you, they are 11 over the course of 2 days. they are a lot, maybe, but i've only written you because you answered. i thought it was better than to spam the thread. when you stopped i turned to the forum. i'm sorry that you are/think you are alone, but that doesnt mean you HAVE to help. unless this is your job, which i think this is not, right?
i'm sorry if i took too much of your time, but it really means what it means. and, for the n-th time you didn't help me!

to quote you:
"You skipped a step in the directions." this is how you answer all the questions

WHAT STEP??? if you want to help, tell me. and it will be much easier for you too. if your first answer would've been: do that, get this, next that, both me and you would've finished this so much more quickly. and had a more pleasent time too. but no, you give me half-answers, letting me (and others, as i've seen on the forums, i'm not the only one) guess stuff, take wrong steps, etc.
like @datanoise did: go here, get that, do that. so much quicker, simpler, clearer. ok, didnt work, i probably broken something while guessing my work to where i am now.
you probably will be offended now by what i wrote, maybe others will be too. i am apologising for that, i am only stating my experience. if you DO want to help newbies, please take that into consideration. if not, you will be bothered again and again by other newcomers.
and remember, it's not a job, you don't have to help
again, thanks to all that have and perhaps still will help me!
edit: maybe i've skipped a step in the directions, as english is not my first language. but now i still don't know what i've skipped
