You first downgraded from the menu or started right from the beginning with the serial console? This will not help you solve your problem but I still didn't get when things started to go wrong.
So to make things clear: each images you tried (did you verify the md5 against the ones posted on this forum to make sure your files were not corrupted?) you ended up with this "error 2"?
