Seems silly to me to try and have 11,000 ebooks in a library on a portable reader unless you think the zombie apocalypse is actually going to happen. If so no time to read and if we have a bad enough solar storm or EMP it kills your electronics anyway. I am not sure there is a practical solution for what you want.
