His last comment here (before he went back to school) was that KOreader would require a lot of work due to display changes.

That looks like he is working on it.

He has not announced any "fixed" version.

coplate has a KUALbooklet.jar file being tested that seems to fix the KUAL problems on the newer firmware versions, and on the KOA2.
Not yet (as of yesterday) package as a "release" but so far all test results are good.

KPVbooklet has received mentions recently, but I am not sure if anyone is addressing its problems.
(Since the uninstall_*.bin requires "delete" on the sqlite3 database, and the sqlite3 installed does not do that (the installed tools (Lua) might), people may be waiting for me to finish the add-in sqlite3 which CAN "delete" from locale collated database tables).

I am having my own long tail of troubles, not of public interest, on that project.
(Which is also required by the new "bridge" code.)
