The reason I ask this is that cover mode no longer works for me after the OTA upgrade to 5.9.2.0.1 (3262860017). I did the same as you did (with the error of first installing the wrong device version of python & screensavers before then installing the correct version...) However I now get the "failed to process cover" message whenever I open a book. Thinking of just resetting my PW3 and starting all over again unless anyone has any other ideas.
