You are of course correct. And such people either don't do it or hold their nose and go ahead. Few if any of us live up to our moral codes perfectly. This was actually discussed exhaustively in the EU piracy thread. The situation, at least for Amazon, appears to be that there is often no lie involved in circumventing geo-restrictions.
